TEEN FILM COUNCIL APPLICATION
The Robinson Film Center’s Teen Film Council offers students in grades 10-12 an in-depth study of cinema. The program will begin in October 2019 and conclude April 2020. The group will meet Mondays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Students will produce and debut short films that answer the same question: “How can teenagers positively influence their communities?”
The Teen Film Council’s goals are to a) explore film history; b) co-program a film series; c) attend a variety of arts offerings in the Shreveport/Bossier community; d) develop filmmaking skills; and e) learn to create, lead and speak as a team of artists.
To that end, we’re looking for young voices that love film, seek art, desire to build a community, and are committed to the adventure.
Submit your application by: September 27, 2019. Twenty students will be chosen to participate. There are no fees associated with this program.
