Give For Good
North Louisiana’s Largest Day of Giving
May 5, 2026
Early giving is opens April 21
During Give For Good, everyone is a philanthropist! The online giving event is an interactive and exciting 24-hour online giving challenge led by Community Foundation of North Louisiana. This day of giving raises thousands of unrestricted dollars for North Louisiana organizations and brings community members together to celebrate nonprofits and the important work that they are doing. Please consider donating to Robinson Film Center during this year’s event. Every donation, big or small, will help us continue to bring North Louisiana the best programming and film education courses!
The Fun Stuff:
Robinson Film Center is a community resource, and we work hard to bring the best in cinema entertainment and education to you every day! We love our community and we look forward to dressing up and recreating iconic movie scenes each year for Give for Good.
This year, our Teen Film Council students have been hard at work creating these fun videos with our staff members, and as your generous donations help us reach our goals on May 5, new videos will be “unlocked” throughout the day. Join us for this year’s slate of mini “masterpieces”, made by TFC students, and please help us in our ongoing mission to Educate, Enrich, and Entertain the region through the power of film!
The Need:
With new theater seats coming soon, we are working towards a complete revitalization of both theaters at RFC, including upgrades to lighting, ceiling tiles, AV components, sound, and overall accessibility. These improvements will help to ensure that RFC remains a vibrant cultural hub for independent cinema, film education, community events, and major festivals such as Louisiana Film Prize, OUTNorthLa, and CineNoir.
The unrestricted funding we raise during Give for Good helps us make improvements in service of providing an excellent viewing experience for our patrons in 2026 and beyond! As always, a portion of your contribution will also help support our film education division, so give today!
The Good Stuff:
Robinson Film Center's community-driven programming is built around a diverse selection of independent, international, classic, documentary and Louisiana-made cinema. Offering a full-service bistro and community events center, we annually attract 60,000 people and generate an economic impact of $2.8 million. We are North Louisiana's only nonprofit independent cinema, hosting festivals and offering series focusing on art, science, faith, family, and fun. We also provide a robust slate of education and outreach programs for K-12 students, college students, women, and senior citizens.
