In this touching next chapter of their saga, Sibil Fox and Robert Richardson, the notable couple from the Oscar-nominated film TIME (2020), return to the battleground of Louisiana’s carceral state to fight for the release of their nephew and co-defendant from the clutches of a merciless system and ultimately discover that the purpose of freedom is to free others. Documentary, 1 hr 20 mins., NR.
The Community Mixer will take place in Abby Singer’s Bistro on Robinson Film Center’s 2nd Floor. The screening will be held in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater, followed by a Q&A with Fox and Rob Richardson, moderated by Dr. Theron Jackson. Tickets are free to the public, but must be reserved to ensure you have a seat.

The event is hosted by Fox and Rob, a New Orleans-based couple who endured and survived 21-years as an incarcerated family. They are subjects of the Academy Award -winning documentary, TIME (2020). After Fox's release from prison in 2002, they led a valiant charge to regain Rob's freedom and restore their family. In June 2018, Governor John Bel Edwards granted clemency to Rob and he was released.
