Kick off Geek’d Con weekend with a E.T.’s Dee Wallace and Henry Thomas at RFC! VIP ticket holders can start the night with an exclusive meet & greet with the special guests at 5 p.m. The screening will start at 6:30 p.m. followed by a moderated Q&A. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the stars of this Spielberg classic!

An alien is left behind on Earth and saved by the 10-year-old Elliot who decides to keep him hidden in his home. While a task force hunts for the extra-terrestrial, Elliot, his brother, and his little sister Gertie form an emotional bond with their new friend, and try to help him find his way home. The meet & greet with Dee Wallace and Henry Thomas will begin at 5 p.m. in RFC’s 2nd floor Event Space. YOU MUST HAVE A VIP TICKET TO ATTEND THE MEET & GREET. The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a moderated Q&A in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater.


ABOUT THE GUESTS:

Dee Wallace

Dee Wallace is probably best known for her role as Mary Taylor in the Academy Award winning 1982 blockbuster film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Where she stars as the mother of Elliot. At the time of the movie's release, Dee was the most establish cast member, and had top billing on the film.
She is also known for her starring roles in several horror films including The Hills Have Eyes (1977), The Howling (1981), Cujo (1983), Critters (1986), and The Frighteners (1996).
On television, Wallace played a leading role in the CBS sitcom Together We Stand, and the family drama The New Lassie. She guest starred in episodes of a number of shows, including The Twilight Zone, Supernatural, Hotel, Murder She Wrote, Touched by an Angel, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, My Name Is Earl, Criminal Minds, and The Office.
In 2015, Wallace was cast on the ABC soap opera series General Hospital, as Patricia Spencer, the unseen, long-lost older sister of Luke and Bobbie Spencer.

Henry Thomas

Henry Thomas blasted onto the pop culture landscape as the lead role of Elliott in the film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. For his work as Elliott, he won a Young Artist Award, and nominations for a Golden Globe, BAFTA Award, and Saturn Award.
Thomas also had roles in the movies Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, The Last Ride (where he played Hank Williams Sr.), Cloak & Dagger, Fire in the Sky, Legends of the Fall, Suicide Kings, All the Pretty Horses, Gangs of New York, and Dear John.
Thomas was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film for his role in the television film Indictment: The McMartin Trial.
Over the last few years, Thomas has started collaborated with writer/director Mike Flanagan. Thomas has partnered with Flanagan on the projects Ouija: Origin of Evil, Gerald's Game, The Haunting of Hill House and its follow-up series The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher.
Thomas also worked on the sequel to The Shining, Doctor Sleep, where he played Jack Torrance.
