Join director Robert L. Camina for an in-depth workshop on the making of his documentary, Upstairs Inferno. On June 24, 1973, an arsonist set fire to the Up Stairs Lounge, a New Orleans bar. Thirty-two people died in what became the largest gay mass murder in U.S. history. In this film, director Camina talks to survivors, witnesses and family members, many of whom are discussing the tragedy publicly for the first time. documentary, 96 min.
