Aspiring filmmakers and creatives of all ages are invited to join us for our Black Filmmaker Symposium. Hear from a distinguished panel of Black crew members with key roles in the film industry. These professionals will discuss their journeys, and give realistic insight on getting into, and being successful in, the film industry. Light bites and refreshments will be provided.

The event will take place in RFC’s second floor event space. Registration is free, but space is limited. You must reserve a ticket to attend.

Robinson Film Center, in partnership with Mahogani Media, proudly presents the 2026 CineNoir: Black Voices in Film series! For its third year, this annual showcase will close out Black History Month with a celebration of the rich and diverse tapestry of Black culture through visual storytelling. The weekend event will feature a curated selection of inspiring and insightful studio-released and independent features, as well as short films created by Black filmmakers from our region and beyond.
