Robinson Film Center is a community resource, and we work hard to bring the best in cinema entertainment and education to you every day! We love our community and we look forward to dressing up and recreating iconic movie scenes each year for Give for Good. The Need:
This year we are turning our attention to additional much-needed upgrades, such as addressing our seats in both theaters. The unrestricted funding we raise during Give for Good helps us make improvements in service of providing an excellent viewing experience for our patrons in 2024 and beyond! As always, a portion of your contribution will also help support our film education division, so give today!
The Good Stuff:
Robinson Film Center's community-driven programming is built around a diverse selection of independent, international, classic, documentary and Louisiana-made cinema. Offering a full-service bistro and community events center, we annually attract 60,000 people and generate an economic impact of $2.8 million. We are north Louisiana's only nonprofit independent cinema, hosting festivals and offering series focusing on art, science, faith, family, and fun. We also provide a robust slate of education and outreach programs for K-12 students, college students, women, and senior citizens.
The Yummy Stuff:
To show our appreciation for our wonderful community, we’re offering all day Happy Hour specials on May 7 in RFC’s Abby Singer’s Bistro! These specials on cocktails, appetizers, burgers, and more are too good to pass up! The bistro will be open for lunch 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., happy hour 4-6 p.m., and dinner 5-8 p.m., so grab a seat and help us celebrate this wonderful day of giving!
