PLATOON
Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemorative Screening & Discussion
6 p.m. April 30

Sponsored by LSUS, SAC-LSUS, and LSUS Veterans Resource Center

Join us to observe the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War with a special screening of Platoon.

This screening is free to the public, but you must reserve a ticket to ensure you will have a seat. We want to give everyone a fair chance to get tickets, so please only purchase group tickets if you have confirmation that everyone in your group can attend.

As a young and naive recruit in Vietnam, Chris Taylor faces a moral crisis when confronted with the horrors of war and the duality of man. War/Action, 1986, 2 hrs., R.

The screening will be held in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater, followed by a panel discussion with LSUS faculty.
