Teens on Screen:
PONYO
6 p.m. April 16

Presented by RFC’s Teen Film Council

Each year, RFC’s Teen Film Council members get to program a film for our student-led series, Teens on Screen! Students pick the film, produce a commercial, and pick an activity for our audience members. This year, join them to make friendship bracelets and discover a world where anything is possible with Studio Ghibli’s Ponyo on the big screen.

When Sosuke, a young boy who lives on a clifftop overlooking the sea, rescues a stranded goldfish named Ponyo, he discovers more than he bargained for. Ponyo is a curious, energetic young creature who yearns to be human, but even as she causes chaos around the house, her father, a powerful sorcerer, schemes to return Ponyo to the sea. Fantasy/Adventure, 2008, 1 hr. 43 mins., G.

The screening will take place in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater.
