“Beyond Minority Report: A Look at Artificial Intelligence and Law Enforcement” will be moderated by CNN Commentator Van Jones. The panel will feature Joy Buolamwini, Founder, Algorithmic Justice League: Dr. Safiya Umoja Noble, Author of Algorithms of Oppression; Clare Garvie, Researcher, The Perpetual Lineup; Shalini Kantayya, director of Coded Bias; Kade Crockford, Director, Technology for Liberty Program, ACLU; and Alvaro Bedoya, Founding Director, Center on Privacy and Technology at Georgetown Law.

SCIENCE ON SCREEN: She Is the Ocean

Dr. Stephanie Villalba, assistant professor of biological sciences at LSU Shreveport, discusses "Born of the Ocean" before She Is the Ocean. The Mammalian Diving Reflex helps us conserve oxygen when we are submerged in water, and Dr. Villalba explores what happens to our bodies under the extreme circumstances experienced by surfers and divers like those featured in the documentary.
