Summer Film Camps

To sign up for one of our Summer Film Camps click below on the camp you want to attend, fill out the form, and then pay the registration fee, which is $185 per student per camp ($150 for RFC members). All fees must be paid in advance to reserve a space for your student. Enrollment is first-come, first-serve and space is limited. If you prefer to mail in a form with payment, click here to download.

WIZARDING MOVIE CAMP, JUNE 3-7

Love Harry Potter? This is the camp for you! Create your own wizarding film and cast a spell of movie magic.

Open to those who have completed grades 3-12. Held 1-5 p.m. daily at Robinson Film Center, 617 Texas Street.


ACTION MOVIE CAMP, JUNE 10-14

JUMP! ROLL! FALL! Learn it all and be an action movie hero. In this brand new RFC Summer Film Camp offering, students will learn basic techniques used by stunt performers in the film industry. Don’t worry— they will be under close supervision from the camp director and instructors. Students will develop safe techniques to master falls, rolls, and other stunt techniques and incorporate the learned techniques into a short film.

Open to those who have completed grades 6-12. Held 1-5 p.m. daily at Robinson Film Center, 617 Texas Street, Shreveport.


SUPER HERO MOVIE CAMP, JUNE 17-21

Who doesn’t want to be a super hero (or an evil villain)? During this brand new camp offering, students will create superhero characters through live action role playing and collaborate to construct a screenplay that will have their characters overcome obstacles, fight the evil villain and ultimately save the day! Students will learn the in and outs of filmmaking and create their own live action superhero film by week’s end.

Open to those who have completed grades 3-8. Held 1-5 p.m. daily at Bossier Arts Council, 630 Barksdale Boulevard, Bossier City.


MUSIC VIDEO CAMP, JULY 8-12

Learn to direct and perform for music videos, from choreography to using filming equipment.
