Summer Film Camps

To sign up for one of our Summer Film Camps click below on the camp you want to attend, fill out the form, and then pay the registration fee. All fees must be paid in advance to reserve a space for your student. Enrollment is first-come, first-serve and space is limited.

This year, all 3 Film Camp screenings will be combined. Your camper’s short films will premiere in RFC’s theater at 12 p.m. on July 11!


WHODUNIT CAMP
JUNE 8-12

Registration Fee: $219 per student per camp ($189 for RFC members)

Get ready to crack the case wide open at RFC’s WHODUNIT CAMP! Conquer techniques in special effects, cinematography, and more that will take your filmmaking skills from killer to thriller. It’s a wild ride into the mysterious world of filmmaking where you'll craft suspenseful plots, capture nail-biting shots, and piece together the ultimate whodunit mystery.

Open to those who have completed grades 3-8. Held 1-5 p.m. daily at Robinson Film Center, 617 Texas St, Shreveport


ACTING CAMP
JUNE 22 - 26

Registration Fee: $219 per student per camp ($189 for RFC members)

Unleash your inner star at RFC’s new ACTING CAMP! Aspiring young actors will dive headfirst into the world of performance, exploring the art of character development, storytelling, and more. Exciting workshops will inspire, help build confidence, and elevate your acting skills to new heights.

Open to those who have completed grades 6-12. Held 1-5 p.m. daily at Robinson Film Center, 617 Texas St, Shreveport


COMMERCIAL CAMP
JUNE 29 - JULY 3

Registration Fee: $219 per student per camp ($189 for RFC members)

Learn the ins and outs of developing a commercial from start to finish at RFC’s COMMERCIAL CAMP! With creativity and a strong call to action, the art of commercial advertising can transform a product, service, or idea from ordinary to extraordinary. Students will spend the week writing, planning, filming, and starring in their very own video advertisements, bringing their big ideas from script to screen!

Open to those who have completed grades 6-12. Held 1-5 p.m. daily at Robinson Film Center, 617 Texas St, Shreveport
