Following the screening, join the filmmaker, Juliet Romeo, for a Q&A where she'll discuss the stories behind the films and share updates on her upcoming feature documentary.
The screening will take place in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater, followed by a filmmaker Q&A with Director/Writer/Advocate Juliet Romeo.
About the Filmmaker
Juliet Romeo, a filmmaker originally from Trinidad but raised in New York and now residing in Miami, has earned widespread recognition for her contributions to the film industry. As an Afro-Caribbean woman with disabilities, she wears multiple hats as a writer, director, executive producer, and disability advocate. Juliet is deeply committed to breaking down stereotypes in entertainment by creating inclusive and accessible environments on set, while also advocating for diverse storytelling. Her contributions have been acknowledged by esteemed organizations like the Sickle Cell Association of America.
