Louisiana Film Prize
October 16-17

Film Prize is the original Prize! Founded in 2012, Louisiana Film Prize incentivizes rising filmmakers with the opportunity to win $50,000 cash — the world’s largest cash prize for a short film. All year, filmmakers have been honing their projects and now is your chance to see all twenty and then vote for the grand prize winner and the best performance category. Screenings are available at 4 venues including Robinson Film Center.

Robinson Film Center is the premier venue for Film Prize screenings, featuring a high quality cinema experience, the best concessions (including convenient in-theater concession stands and a selection of beer and wine!), and comfortable stadium seating.

Louisiana Film Prize Passes are available at prizefest.com

Screenings will take place Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th. There are 4 venues to choose from including Robinson Film Center. Pick a screening time and arrive early. Seating is first come, first served.

Each slate contains 10 films and runs approximately 2h 15m, including a 10 minute intermission.

After each screening, you’ll need to have your badge punched with a special device by one of the Film Prize Ushers as you exit the theater. If you leave without having your badge punched, you will not be eligible to vote. You must see both TEAL and ORANGE slates to vote!
