StoryTellHERS Vol. 4
May 24-25

StoryTellHERS is back for Volume 4, and it is bigger and better than ever!

StoryTellHERS, curated by Kristi Woodard of Mahogani Media, is an annual event that is dedicated to showcasing the incredible work of female filmmakers from our region and beyond. It has become a highly anticipated and attended event for those passionate about supporting women in film. For its fourth year, StorytellHERS is expanding and moving to the weekend! This year’s program will feature a full day of inspirational, educational, and entertaining events, while amplifying the creative voices and unique perspectives of women directors.

We are also excited to welcome young filmmakers (ages 17 and under) to the series this year with a screening & symposium where light bites and refreshments will be served. With this new addition, we aim to inspire and nurture the next generation of StoryTellHERS, and empower young women to tell their stories and share them on screen.

Join us for a showcase of films BY women and FOR women! Stay tuned for the full schedule and film selections.

Clueless
5 p.m. May 25

Thought StoryTellHERS was just one day? As if! We’re like totally buggin’ because your favorite valley girl is coming from Beverly Hills to RFC’s big screen to end StoryTellHERS with a totally Clueless evening! Channel your inner Cher and join us for themed cocktails, a costume contest, and this beloved 90’s comedy on the big screen for it’s 30th anniversary.

It's not easy being the most popular and glamorous girl at Beverly Hills High. Especially when you're the envy of scheming Betties (female babes), persistent Barney's (unattractive guys), loser loadies (potheads), and teachers who go postal (freak out) when you turn your homework in late! Yet somehow 15-year-old Cher keeps it all together. But Cher's tidy world starts to unravel with the sudden appearance of two total Baldwins (hunks). Now Cher is about to learn that when it comes to love, she's... well, Clueless. Comedy/Romance, 1995, 1 hr 37 min., R.

The screening will be in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater
